OpiStop is a dietary supplement manufactured in the USA for Coral Club. A serving of two capsules provides rose hips (Rosa canina) fruit extract 400 mg, long pepper (Piper longum) fruit extract 200 mg, aspen (Populus tremuloides) bark extract 200 mg, deglycyrrhizinated licorice root extract 200 mg, yarrow (Achillea millefolium) flower extract 100 mg and tansy (Tanacetum vulgare) flower extract 40 mg. The label directs two capsules twice a day with a meal, so a bottle of 100 capsules lasts 25 days.

Tansy flower contains thujone, a compound that is toxic to the nervous system in larger amounts. Tansy has a history of misuse to induce miscarriage, and it must be avoided in pregnancy and while breastfeeding. The card does not state the thujone content of the extract. At four capsules a day, OpiStop provides 80 mg of tansy extract. Anyone with a seizure disorder should not use thujone-containing products without medical advice.
Aspen bark contains salicin, a natural salicylate related to aspirin. Anyone allergic or sensitive to aspirin, taking anticoagulants, or giving supplements to children or teenagers should consult a physician before use.
The US card makes no claim about parasites, and neither does this page. If the name suggests otherwise: a parasitic infection needs a medical diagnosis and prescription care; OpiStop is not intended for that purpose.
The supplement facts panel lists microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate and a hydroxypropyl methylcellulose capsule. The card's badge says "capsules made from beef gelatin", which contradicts the panel; check the bottle label if gelatin matters to you. Coral Club labels the product gluten free and free of soy.
