B-Prime Direct is a B-complex dietary supplement in single-dose stick packs, manufactured in Slovenia for Coral Club. One box holds 30 packs of 2 g each, 60 g net.
Worth being precise about, because the name says it: the powder is poured directly onto the tongue, left to dissolve there, and swallowed without drinking water. Coral Club states that no mixing with water is required prior to use.
Dissolving in the mouth is what the manufacturer means by "Direct". According to the card, absorption begins there rather than after passage through the stomach.* Nothing needs to be measured, stirred or carried alongside the pack.
A single 2 g stick pack carries ten declared actives: vitamins B1, B2, B6 and B12, niacin, folate, biotin, pantothenic acid, choline and inositol. Eight of the ten exceed 100% of the Daily Value, several of them by a wide margin — vitamin B2 at 462%, biotin at 500%. Full amounts and percentages are set out under Ingredients.
Folate comes as L-methylfolate calcium, sold under the EXTRAfolate-S™ trademark, which belongs to Gnosis S.p.A. of Italy. According to Coral Club, B vitamins support normal energy metabolism, maintain the nervous system, enhance cognitive abilities, and promote healthy skin, hair and nails.* The card positions regular intake as relevant to an active lifestyle, general well-being, immune support and stress resilience.*
Niacin appears as nicotinamide at 30 mg per pack. The Tolerable Upper Intake Level set for adults in the United States is 35 mg a day from supplemental forms, so one pack sits close to that ceiling. Anyone already taking a multivitamin or another B-complex should add up the total before combining them.
Sorbitol is used as a sweetener, and the manufacturer notes on the label that excessive use may have a laxative effect. The remaining non-actives are sodium chloride, orange flavor and steviol glycosides from stevia.
Coral Club states the product is not recommended for people with hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients, for those who are pregnant, or while breastfeeding. Worth reading as written: the card frames these as exclusions rather than as a matter to raise with a practitioner.
