Combination Flow

Combination Flow is a dietary supplement manufactured in Spain for Coral Club. Each capsule carries six plant extracts and vitamin B6, and the bottle holds 60 capsules — a 60-day supply at the directed one capsule a day with a meal.

What is in a capsule

Cranberry fruit extract 240 mg, parsley leaf extract 125 mg, horsetail aerial parts extract 75 mg, juniper berry extract 50 mg, nettle leaf extract 25 mg, ginger root extract 25 mg, and vitamin B6 2 mg, the last at 118% of the Daily Value. The cranberry is the branded Oximacro®, a trademark of Biosfered S.r.l., Italy — a licensed ingredient rather than a Coral Club formulation.

What the manufacturer states

According to Coral Club, the complex is designed to support kidney and urinary system health.* Ingredient by ingredient, the card states:

• Oximacro® cranberry extract — rich in type A proanthocyanidins, which may help maintain a healthy urinary tract environment, and formulated to support normal kidney function.*
• Parsley and horsetail — may help support the body's ability to eliminate excess fluids, which may contribute to normal kidney function; parsley as a source of vitamin K, horsetail as a source of silica.*
• Ginger and nettle — may help protect kidney cells and support their normal functioning, with ginger providing antioxidant support through its gingerol content.*
• Juniper berry — promotes urinary system health through its cleansing and supportive effects, and its vitamin C content supports immune health.*
• Vitamin B6 — supports normal metabolism and processes essential to urinary system function, and plays a role in neurotransmitter synthesis.*

Type A proanthocyanidins, and why the amount is not the whole story

The activity attributed to cranberry in urinary research is tied to its type A proanthocyanidins, and published work measures doses in milligrams of PAC rather than milligrams of extract. This label declares 240 mg of extract without a PAC figure, so the two cannot be lined up directly against the research. Sources are listed under Research.

Before starting, two points the card does not raise

Anticoagulant medicines. Cranberry is among the foods and supplements most often flagged for interaction with warfarin, and a systematic review of such interactions treats it as one of the better-documented cases. Anyone taking an oral anticoagulant should consult a physician before use. Parsley and nettle add vitamin K to the same consideration.

Pregnancy and kidney conditions. Juniper berry is traditionally avoided in pregnancy and in active kidney disease, and the product also carries parsley, which is subject to similar caution. Coral Club's own precaution covers pregnancy and nursing; anyone with a diagnosed kidney condition should raise a product positioned around kidney function with a physician first, not last.

Labels, storage and shelf life

Coral Club declares plant-based capsules and no soy. The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide. Net weight of the bottle is 42 g.

Shelf life is 2 years. Store in a dry place at room temperature, out of reach of children, and do not use if the safety seal is broken or missing.
