Enzy-Prime is a dietary supplement manufactured in the USA for Coral Club. The bottle holds 60 plant-based capsules with a net weight of 20.6 g.
The panel lists three proteases active at different pH levels, together with lipase for fats, alpha-amylase, glucoamylase and invertase for starches and sugars, lactase for milk sugar, cellulase, hemicellulase and pectinase for plant fiber, and alpha-galactosidase for the oligosaccharides in beans and other legumes.
For enzymes, the milligram weight says little; activity is what describes a preparation, and the label states each enzyme in its own standard unit — HUT for proteases, FIP for lipase, BAU for alpha-amylase, ALU for lactase, GalU for alpha-galactosidase. The full panel is set out under Ingredients.
The descriptive text on Coral Club's card speaks of a "complex of 10 enzymes", while the panel beneath it lists twelve. The panel is reproduced here.
Worth stating plainly, because it affects how the label is read. The US card carries no Directions section. The only dosing information is the heading of the ingredient panel, which states the enzyme activities for a "Daily portion — 3 capsules". On that reading, a bottle of 60 lasts 20 days and each capsule carries a third of the listed activity.
The card for the same product in another market lists the same activity figures per single capsule. The two cannot both be right, and the difference is threefold. Until Coral Club clarifies it, the printed label on the bottle is the reference for both the amount per capsule and the number of capsules to take.
The US card also carries no precautions section, and labels its panel with "% NRV" — a European term — rather than the % Daily Value used in the United States.
According to Coral Club, the complex is adapted to a modern diet high in carbohydrates and supports the digestion of proteins, fats and lactose-containing foods.* Proteases support the breakdown of proteins into amino acids; lipase helps break down dietary fats into fatty acids and glycerol, aiding normal absorption; amylase and the other carbohydrate enzymes assist in digesting carbohydrates into glucose; and lactase helps break down lactose into glucose and galactose, supporting the digestion of dairy products and helping reduce occasional discomfort after consuming them.*
The product contains no gluten. That is a statement about its composition, not a claim that it helps digest gluten, and none of the twelve enzymes on the panel is designed to break down the gluten fragments that matter for coeliac disease. Laboratory work on commercially available digestive enzyme supplements found they do not degrade those fragments effectively. Anyone who avoids gluten for a medical reason cannot substitute an enzyme supplement for a gluten-free diet. A source is listed under Research.
Coral Club declares the product gluten free, free of soy, made with plant-based capsules and suitable for vegetarians. The only other ingredients are the hydroxypropyl methylcellulose capsule and rice flour.
Shelf life is 2 years. Store in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25°C (77°F), away from direct sunlight and heat, out of reach of children.
Values as printed on the US card, where the panel heading reads "Daily portion — 3 capsules". See the note below the table on the basis.

No reference values are established for enzymes. The US card gives activity units only, without milligram weights.
Note on the basis: the card for the same product in another market lists these same activity figures per single capsule rather than per three. The difference is threefold. Check the printed label on the bottle.
Net weight of the bottle is 20.6 g.
The US card for Enzy-Prime carries no Directions section. The only dosing information is the ingredient panel heading, which gives the enzyme activities for a daily portion of three capsules. The card for the same product in another market lists one capsule three times a day with meals.
Digestive enzymes are generally taken with meals, since that is when they have food to act on. Follow the printed label on the bottle for the amount and timing. On a three-capsules-a-day reading, a bottle of 60 lasts 20 days.
Do not exceed the amount directed on the label.
Shelf life 2 years. Store in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25°C (77°F), away from direct sunlight and heat, out of reach of children.
No published clinical study has assessed this finished product. The sources below concern digestive enzyme supplements, alpha-galactosidase, lactase, and whether enzyme supplements degrade gluten.
