The Coral Club pack combines two products for a 30-day course: Promarine Collagen Tripeptides (3 packs of 10 vials of 50 ml, 30 in total) and Coral-Mine (3 packs of 10 sachets, 30 in total). The label directs one vial of collagen daily in the morning.
A liquid hydrolyzed fish collagen drink manufactured in Taiwan. Each 50 ml vial provides 15 g of hydrolyzed fish collagen including 3.5 g of MAXICOLLAGEN tripeptides, with hibiscus flower and white currant extracts, 100 mg of vitamin C (111% DV), vitamins B2 and B6, biotin, 72 mg of hyaluronic acid and spinach leaf. It is sweetened with apple and blueberry juice concentrates, trehalose and steviol glycosides.
Coral Club presents the drink as helping hydrate and firm the skin and support healthier hair and nails.* Vitamin C is needed for normal collagen formation.*
A mineral product made from ancient deep-sea coral collected near the Okinawa and Tokunoshima islands in the Sea of Japan, consisting of ground coral and L-ascorbic acid. A sachet placed in drinking water enriches it with minerals; according to Coral-Mine's own label, one sachet provides 356 mg of calcium, 15 mg of magnesium and 5 mg of vitamin C. Coral Club presents it as a way to encourage regular water intake.
Meta-analyses of randomized trials have reported improvements in skin hydration and elasticity with oral hydrolyzed collagen, though the trials vary widely. Coral Club links a document describing a 12-week randomized trial of Promarine Collagen Tripeptides; no such study could be found in PubMed, so its results are not reported here.
Coral Club states the pack does not contain soy. Promarine Collagen Tripeptides: store cool and dry, away from direct sunlight, at no more than 75°F (24°C); shelf life 2 years. Coral-Mine: store cool and dry in a tightly closed container, away from sunlight; shelf life 5 years. Keep both out of reach of children.
