FanDetox™ is a dietary supplement in powder form, packed in single 4.5 g stick packs and manufactured in South Korea. Coral Club states that the formula was developed by the Korean scientist Song Hae Bok, Ph.D., and that it is formulated to support healthy liver function and the body's natural detoxification processes, particularly during times of dietary or environmental stress.*
Each stick pack combines five plant extracts with taurine and vitamin C:
One stick pack provides 15 calories and 4 g of carbohydrate. The powder base is dextrin, citric acid, glucose, xylitol and glucosyl stevia.
The label directs one stick pack mixed with 100 ml of warm water, twice a day, with meals. A box of 30 stick packs therefore lasts 15 days, not a month.
The formula contains soybean sprout extract, so soy — one of the major food allergens — is present. It also contains buckwheat, a recognized allergen for some people. Goji berry has been linked in published case reports to an increased effect of warfarin; anyone taking warfarin or another anticoagulant should speak to a physician before use.
