Coral Club states that vitamins A and D help maintain the health of the gastrointestinal tract by supporting mucosal integrity and immune function.* The card does not state which chemical form of vitamin A is used. At one capsule a day, both vitamins sit well below their upper intake levels, but they add to the amounts in any multivitamin you already take.
Papain and bromelain are plant proteases. Because they are derived from fruit, people allergic to papaya or pineapple — and some people with latex allergy, which can cross-react with these fruits — may react to them. Bromelain and papain may also add to the effect of anticoagulant medicines.
